Of the many styles of BASE pilot chutes currently available we believe the Ring Vent PC has proven to be the optimal design for subterminal jumping.
The Ring Vent PC has been used in BASE jumping for many years and become incredibly popular due to a consistent, strong, and stable pull with minimal oscillation. For this reason we believe the Ring Vent design can improve heading performance, and ultimately jumper safety.
Apex BASE Pilot Chutes are built to extremely tight manufacturing standards by highly experienced BASE sewists/riggers in our Southern California facility.
